Major hypocrisies in the current world
Rampant hypocrisies are no longer ab exclusive characteristic of totalitarian regimes which words often have little bearing on their actions and often use multiple standards. The following are major hypocrisies of democratic countries:
- Protest against racism in the US while being completely silent on the genocide of Uighurs in China. Racism in the US is not remotely close to that in China.
- Refuse to cover the face in the name of defending freedom while attacking private businesses for exercising their freedom of requiring face covering on their properties.
- Cherish black criminals killed by police in the name of "black lives matter" while ignoring two orders of magnitude higher number of innocent black people killed by black criminals.
- Protest against aborting fetuses in the name of "pro-life" while advocating herd immunity for Covid that would kill a large number of elderly before the arrival of effective therapeutics.
- Trust every word of a woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault with no credible corroboration while being completely silent on a woman accusing Joe Biden of the same sin.
