Auto body rust management 

Auto body rust is preventable and manageable. 

1. Wire sheet, then 120 grit sanding tool (sandpaper or sand sponge) to remove rust.
2. Use chemical rust converter(e.g. Loctite Extend Rust Neutralizer)  or dissolver to convert or remove rust residues in pits, let it dry 10+ hours.
3. Apply Primer.  Three thin coats 10 minutes apart.
4. Let it dry overnight.
5. Use Bondo (e.g. Rubbing Glaze Compounds - Automotive Refinishing Bondo(R) Professional Glazing And Spot Putty) to smooth out pits.
6. Use 350- or 400-grit sandpaper to smooth the surface.
7. Wipe clean surface.
8. Apply paint (from etailers such as Roberts Paint Care). Three thin coats 2 hours apart. One could
