Code camp - technical, educational, entertaining, interactive.

There are few events that have the attributes of technical, educational, entertaining and interactive.  Code camp is one.

There are so many different types of computing devices (servers, desktops, tablets, smartphones, etc.), so many OS’ (Windows, Android, iOS, WebOS, etc.), so many different platforms and so many different tools that it is impossible to be an expert in every one of them.  It would be nice to listen to an expert of certain areas, and have a conversation with him, interact with people sharing the same technical interest.   Code camp offers the opportunity to do all of these.

Code camp at Microsoft’s New England office in Waltham, MA is probably one of the best code camps.  It has multiple tracks (6 for code camp 16 on 2011-10-16), a nice venue – Microsoft NE office, speakers with deep knowledge, and sponsors for meals and snacks.  Most participants are highly competent software developers.
