• It is hard to to reconcile Fig.22 A and B on p.158. If the blood lactate concentration is a constant at any running speed and no matter how high it is, the production and removal rates have to be the same; or in other words, Line A1 and Line B should be identical. If line A1 is above line B as shown in Fig.22B the blood lactate will accumulate to infinite.
• The legends of both Fig. 4.12 and 4.13 (p.222-223) appear to be wrong. The labels look like in the wrong order.
